Facebook Notifications after Gingerbread?

Anyone having any luck with "push" notifications for new wall posts, comments, etc. coming though as they are posted now that you are on GB? The Facebook app says push works on all 2.2+ devices which is anything higher then 2.2 to my understanding. So far it's a no go for me even after reinstalling the latest Facebook update on my phone.

Facebook for Sense isn't working. Not getting notifications either. Facebook for sense stopping working with Friendstream before the update. Now, Friendstream no longer allows posts to Facebook in GB. The clickable box is gone.

I have noticed that under Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add Account it has Facebook for HTC Sense listed and has a check mark next to it, but just the normal Facebook one doesn't have a check mark there and when I press on it to add an account it does nothing.
