For whatever reason, my contacts won't update Facebook photos. What's happening, is I have my contacts with my FB friends and when they update their profile pictures, they don't update in my contacts. Is there a way to update these?? Syncing doesn't work. Everything else syncs fine, just not the photos.

yea ive been wondering the same thing, ever since the 2.1 update it doesnt update them... i want to find a fix for this
I agree. I've noticed this especially on my "People" widget. I'd be interested to know if others have this problem, or even a theory on why it might be occurring.

Having the same problem, tried syncing multiple times, won't change people's photos to new profile pic. Would love an update on this or any information to fix it.
I'm actually quite surprised that not many people are experiencing/sounding off about this. I haven't done much investigation (e.g. which contacts won't update the photos or when exactly this started happening) but I'd be very curious to hear a few thoughts from those dev-types who could explain the "why."

I haven't really had much time to mess around with facebook or twitter been really busy just getting a really stable&fast rom up.I would say check a couple things out.Under people,press menu,view,do you have facebook contacts checked?
While I don't know the "Why" part of this, there is actually an app that someone wrote that exists to sync pictures from facebook to contacts.
But its called Sync My Pix.
I realize this is not the same as having the facebook app work as intended. But it could provide a temporary solution until someone figures out how to fix it.

About half the time, it seems to turn out to be trying to sync too much at once. Especially if it's lots of photos and contacts. And especially if it's multiple services. Twitter, facebook, flicker, google contacts.
Try pacing them out a bit, and then giving it a day or two. I was having these troubles and I don't even have a lot of contacts. When I paced it, it all came eventually. Although the facebook photos were the next day.

Mine has been working on 2.1. The contacts I have in Facebook that match my phone get their picture imported...I didn't really need to try and fix or work around anything to get it done.
