Is there anyways to NOT sync this option? I dont want facebook albums on my gallery as there are some pics that are not meant to be on my phone.

Help!

Justin

I hate that. it does the same thing for instagram, tweegram, and anything else that is an image that you use for whatever app. I just keep deleting the gallery

This doesn't happen to me...

Me neither.

It does scan all of my networked devices at home and displays them. My server which contains over 20,000 pictures and my NAS filled with more.

I wish I could disable it. The only option (for now) is to chose the "View by" option and chose "Content in device".

Lame, I suspect they will address this in a future update. Somewhat odd for a flagship device not having the ability to disable where and what I want to scan.

I figure Samsung want people to open the Gallery app and react "Oh wow! All my pictures from xyz are here too!" Just a conspiracy theory of mine. :)

on my AT&T GS III from the Gallery Albums screen hit menu, then view by

All Content
Content in Device
Content In Facebook

If you select content in device it doesn't show FB photos

edit: I see GK already posted this. Oh well at least I can confirm.

i dont have this problem....Gallery>settings>view by shows me i have all content turned on but i dont see anything from facebook

although i have all pics i have uploaded to instagram and Whatsapp showing up

Go to Settings>Accounts and Sync>"Facebook (for syncing)" and uncheck "Sync Gallery"

I don't know if this will remove the facebook albums from the gallery, or just stop updating them.

The problem with the setting "View by - Content in device" is that it defaults to the "All Content" setting every time you open it. In my case, it's polling all my Picasa/Google+ galleries, which is hundreds, maybe thousands of pictures. It chewed up quite a bit of my bandwidth when I first opened it. (I'm watching like a hawk b/c I just lost my unlimited.) I'm hoping someone figures out a way to make this setting permanent.

My google+ albums show up in there and it sucks. All my pics are double and tripled up in my album.
My HTC I could select what albums I wanted to show.

Settings ~ accounts and sync ~ then click on the Facebook one. (Mine has 2.. click the one that says "Facebook (for syncing)" ~ remove account.

I hate the gallery on this phone .... I have like 15 folders that make no sense to me for all my photos. I cannot find anything. There is no rhym or reason to any of it.
