Facebook showing some status updates days late

Is anyone else having this problem with Facebook (the regular Android app). Some status apps by friends will show up on my phone several days after they were really posted. The app will time stamp those updates as if they were just posted (but they were seen on the desktop 1 - 3 days earlier). It is not all posts from any one person, but a sometimes thing. I get a notification of a post, read it and realize that I saw it x days ago on my desktop.

Is this a Facebook problem or an app problem? Is there anything in my settings on Facebook or in the app that might be causing this?

Yep, it happened all the time on mobile. Not sure about desktop, I only get on there once a week to pay bills, lol.

I dont think its an app problem but more a FB problem. had the same issue last week.
