Ok in the app setting you can change the notification volume which is set at 7, increased it to full on and now you can hear the notification much better, just tested it and seems to work fine now.

I have been using the same mp3 sound file for Facebook on many different android cellphones over the years. Since I purchased my Galaxy S10 Plus, I only hear the default Facebook tone no matter what I change it to. I can change the Facebook Messenger sound. Upgrading to Android 10 made no difference
