Has anyone else started receiving FB status update notifications out of the blue? Running leaked RUU, unrooted, still locked.

I've been getting that since 2010 with my Incredible. The FB app (and FB in general but I'll save that for another forum) is a piece of garbage and is unreliable.

Facebook is decent for what it offers and all, but this forced integration business is a scourge upon the earth.

Ever since the app updated a little while back, it hasn't worked well. Its even slower and sometimes won't load at all. I am not getting my notifications at all.

Yep. Like I said earlier been going on for quite a while. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. I've seen them work for an hour then not work for a week.

Found out your fix... I've been trying to figure this out for 2 weeks since it started for me too...

Open the facebook app on your phone. Press your 'Menu' button, go to settings, under Nofification Settings, un-check the box labeled 'Notifications'. It should change to say "Inactive".
