Facebook Sync for contacts gone?

I reactivated it the other day to checkout the upcoming Timeline changes. Good luck with that one guys.

I don't even see the difference. The feed order never makes sense to me anyways. And I'm not trying to stay up to date like that. I just look what's there without scrolling. Lol.

And you cant see it but off to the right there is a bar that lists years, 2010, 2009, etc, all the way back to when you joined Facebook. Anyone who visits your wall can click on a year and then that expands into months and they can click a month and see all your posts for that time period.

There is also this, but I don't know how accurate it is.

HEADS UP every time you say a word of public interest Facebook adds it to the interest page of the topic even if the post is PRIVATE. Meaning on FB nothing is private anymore. For example if I say T-Mobile in one of my posts it automatically starts showing it on the Facebook "T-Mobile" interest page even though my original post was limited to my friends. Just thought it'd be useful for you guys to be careful the topics you talk about on Facebook because they will be published with or without your permission.

It's the developer preview. If you are a Dev you get it. I absolutely hate it. Its showing a ton of my personal stuff public I didn't want public. Tons of stupid events I was invited to.

Yay? Are they trying to look like MySpace? Cuz who remembers that.

It will probably never get to looking like MySpace, but it will definitely be way worse as far as what's put out there about you.

For example, you can't sign up for Spotify (music service) now without a Facebook account. And before, you could link your Spotify account to your Facebook account if you wanted to share a song with a friend. Well now if you link them, EVERY song you listen to get plastered on your wall for all to see. Facebook said they now want you to share without even having to think about sharing. It will just happen.

Eh doesn't make a difference to me. Ill just feel like an old man with Alzheimer's when I go on and then never use it again. Muahahaha.

Frankly, the fact that you have to sign in EVERYTHING with fb now is ridiculous but what can you do? I've had an fb account for years and I'm getting bored with it lately...
