Facebook uninstallable

When did Facebook become uninstallable it will only let me uninstall updates and that's all anyone else run into this?

I've notice that too... even after doing a "Reset" of the phone - and opening up "Market" you automatically get an option to update "Facebook" to the latest version.

Android does have a factory version pre-installed on all device.

Yeah ...the one I tried uninstalling was the one I downloaded from the market

If your phone came preloaded with Facebook, you can't uninstall it.
