Facebook uploads of Panoramic shots from default camera are grainy compared to iphone versions?

I've been testing the built in camera on the s7 edge (SM-G935T).. i switch to panoramic mode.. take a shot, upload to facebook.. at first glance it appears ok, but even the slightest zoom reveals blurry or grainy edges to objects.

The original file size is around 40MB or so.. so i know this isnt the issue.. seems to be something the fb app is doing to the image.. similarly, i have a friend with a newer iphone, he uploads an image you can zoom a few rolls on the mouse without grain..

Anyone else ran into this?

Go to app settings for Facebook and turn on upload HD photos. It's off by default.

I could have sworn i had this enabled, but apparently not, i'm pretty sure next one i upload will now behave normally with no grain.. thanks for that tip.
