Facial Recognition Issues

Hello,

Picked up a mate 20 Pro the other day (amazing so far) but I am finding that the facial recognition doesn't work more times than it does. Are there any tips on what I can do to improve the success rate?

Set it up again. Sometimes I find I need to press the power button, but it is pretty consistent.

So I've been playing about and I've found that if you press the power button away from your face then bring it inline with your face it works a lot more. No idea why that's a thing but I can work with it.
