After updating to 5.0.2 on AT&T, the option in security for facial recognition is gone.

Oh no, I don't even think I noticed that with the phone in the first place!:( Do you have a screenshot of what it looked like? And what was the purpose?

(I've had this phone for almost a year, but it was an emergency replacement…lucked out with the m8 release, but it's just a phone to me; I still am not used to this model after all this time!)

I am on 5.0.2 (SkyDragon v7) and I don't have it either. I am not sure if I ever actually had it, but I'm guessing I did. I believe there's an APK called FaceLock which handles that, since it's always an option that I can remove in AROMA installer when flashing a new custom ROM. I guess you could just google that APK and try to install it?

Off topic but I wanted to ask how you like SkyDragon. I've been running ViperOne 4.3 and I like it, but they seem to only be focused on the M9 now, so no updates seem to be on the horizon.

@dty06 ViperOne has always been one of my favorite ROMs ever since the HTC One X days, but lately they've been proving updates in a slow manner, either because they're focused on the M9 or because the developers are busy with their personal lives, either way that drove me to try other ROMs and I must say I was impressed with SkyDragon - they not only provide fixes and updates almost daily, but each build seems to be that much better than the previous one. I noticed that the battery life was superb while running SkyDragon kernel as well. Right now I am on LeeDroid and I am downloading the latest version of SD (8.0) to test it out.

I am not the type that keeps using the same ROM for a long time, I love trying new ones all the time.
