well, then THAT'S how you get bumped up on the list. Buy something else and return it.

I heard that they feel so sorry for Storm users they just wait by your car in the parking lot and have the paperwork started for returning it before you even drive away.

Yep! That would have been great but I liked my storm for about a week when it came out..

Well, what an interesting first post you have; unfortunately, it is pure drama and threads like this create even more drama for no reason.

The sku number has changed as they add the 2gb microSD card with every purchase.

Stopped at the local Verizon store today to check on availability of Incredible. They told me they have been notified within the last 24 hours that the Incredible has been DISCONTINUED due to the unavailable of certain parts. Can anyone confirm or deny??????????????

Be serious guys its nonsense phones like Eris low end Android it being in the market for long long long times still selling at VZW phones like HTC incredible will survive longer even with the ugly MOTO x so be mature.

Yeah, I probably help the sales reps process about 5 orders a day for the Incredible, for each of the 6 reps I work with.

It's not going anywhere, Samsung would have to drunk dial HTC and tell them to piss off before that happens..

I've passed several Verizon stores with gigantic posters of the Incredible in their Windows and I've seen it advertised in a lot of other places as well. The same backorder debacle happened with the Touch Pro 2 also, and the same rumors starting floating around, but the truth was that they underestimated the popularity of both phones from the beginning.

I've seen tons of advertisement as well. Anyone wonder why the commercials are still going? Plus, the first thing they ask when you walk in to the Verizon Store is 'Would you be interested in a DROID Incredible?'

It is still alive and well, and you're right. Very similar to what happened with the Touch Pro 2.

yeah, i don't believe that it is discontinued...if it was i would be highly pissed off. after paying as much as i did for the phone and for it to end up discontinued i would want an explanation. still seems to me i made the right decision on this phone!

I think you're right.

No follow-up posts, no proof given other than "this is what I was told by one store" (BTW, I went to a VZW store today and they had a big sign in the window of the Droid Inc, as well as, not one but THREE different demo models (the real thing) on display).

Also the name: Dbrkr (Driod breaker?)

I thought that as well, but I've now seen this issue on a couple of other forums, with one of those ostensibly posting Verizon documentation showing it being discontinued That being said, there's NO way that Verizon or HTC will discontinue this phone.

Yeah they will discontinue it.......when the Incredible 2 or something to replace it comes out. Hopefully they will make an Incredible 2 with a dual core processor.....hummm that will be upgrade time

And the new SKU being pushed would mean the old SKU is on closeout. So we shall see.

When I ordered my extended battery ,she told me that no discontinue they are behind on making the AMOLED screens. They are still taking orders and asked if I wanted to order one.

Don't know if this is true or not but that sucks. I wonder if the Incredible will still get 2.2.

They will be discontinuing a SKU. New packaging is coming.
