Factory notification

On the Gs8 plus does anyone now how to shut off the stock notification....I have a third party one that I like better but now both are coming up. And if I take the notification off in the settings I get no notifications at all then... Can anyone help thx

Go into the notifications in the settings. All your apps should show up. Use the slider for whatever message app you want to turn off the notifications.
