Android Central Question

Hi Guys,

Need some help here. I'm having Nexus 6 and I tried do a Factory Reset right from Settings. It asked for a Erase confirmation and I selected yes to proceed with Factory reset.

All data was erased and it came to a screen "AP Fastboot Flash Mode" and it got stuck there. I tried reading several forums and it mentioned to do "Allow OEM Unlock" from Developer Options but I didn't remember enabling it.

My Bootloader Logs show

Fastboot Reason : Reboot mode set to fastboot
failed to validate boot image: ret=-1
Boot up failed
failed to validate boot image: ret=-1
Boot up failed

I took it to Moto Service but those guys said They can't fix it and I have to buy a new phone. Could someone please help me to get my phone working.

Do you have access to a Windows PC?

If yes, download the Nexus Root Toolkit ( Nexus Root Toolkit v2.1.9 ) and, after all the preliminaries, use the "Bricked" option to reinstall the OS and boot your device.
