Factory reset on TWRP... not sure how to continue

Background of problem:

I successfully unlocked and rooted my Nexus 4 (with Android 4.4.2) using the Wugs Nexus Root Toolkit via the following tutorial: Any Nexus Root + Unlock Bootloader + Custom Recovery (Any Android Version) - YouTube

With the intention of installing CyanogenMod, I preceded to follow another tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnEayvD3DFI)... but was caught off guard when booting recovery mode. I ended up with a TWRP screen, rather than ClockworkMod.

Problem:

In what may or may not have been a wave of stupidity, I performed a factory reset with TWRP. I did NOT perform any of the advanced wipe options.

After restarting the phone, everything seems to work as normal. However, both BusyBox and Quick Boot (which were installed in the rooting process) are no longer listed under apps. SuperSU and all of the stock apps still are.

I'm afraid to do anything further. Can anyone explain what it is that I did, and point to instructions for following through with the CyanogenMod installation at this point? Am I just better off unrooting (and unfortunately have to put up with all the Google+ notifications)?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Factory reset just erases the data (contacts, pictures, music, app data, etc.) from your phone. At least you didn't completely wipe the phone.

You can install CyanogenMod from within TWRP if the appropriate CM file has already been added to your phone.

Do this if zip file is not on the phone:

(1) Download zip file on computer from CM site
(2) Add CM zip file to phone
(3) Enter recovery (TWRP) and install CM

I advocate you to stay with TWRP, its so much better and easier to use than CWM. Not that CWM is bad, I just prefer TWRP.

Doing a factory reset in custom recovery is unlike with stock recovery, it does not wipe your internal storage so your music and photos are not erased. It only wipe apps and apps data.

TWRP have built in BusyBox while you're running it. To install BusyBox to the operating system, just use a busybox installer, I recommend this one: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ils?id=me.timos.busyboxonrails&token=YLkD7xMW

I don't know what QuickBoot is so I can't help you there.

Make sure you are using the latest version of recovery, official TWRP for the Nexus 4 is here: Techerrata Downloads - Browsing mako
You need to use fastboot to flash img files, but maybe the toolkit can do it.

If really you want CWM, you can download and flash these using TWRP: [6.0.4.6] [CWM Touch Recovery] [mako] - xda-developers
(But I really recommend sticking with TWRP).
