My settings say I'm backing up to a Google account. Is that backing up everything? How do I tell?

Use one of the text message back up apps. There are several in the app store. Your apps will be backed up and restored via Google assuming you have those functions checked in Settings/Backup & Restore.

Thanks. Got it all done. Went seamless.

Only slight issue I see is the cell standby battery drain seems way high compared to what it was before I did the reset..

Any ideas?

Let the phone "settle" a bit and it will hopefully be fully optimized within a day or two.
