Factory Reset: Result- Android System has stopped working.

Related to another post here, wifi reception started flaking out and battery life was crashing.
I did software-based factory reset (with backup).
Upon reboot, I get the message "Unfortunately Android System has stopped working".
Hard reboot...same result.
I have data connection from carrier. I can access phone via USB.
Any help would be appreciated as I how have brick. This was exactly why I never did factory reset before....my worst fears realized.

Hi

If you have done a factory reset, then the only other thing you can do is to try to Flash the original software back on your device, with Odin. Go to Sammobile and see if your software is available for download. Let us know if you need help with that process, as I'm sure we can find a tutorial, if your device is listed on sammobile.

Flashed stock image back. Wifi is flakey exactly as before. Will connect for three seconds then disappear.
I will NEVER get another LG or another phone from AT&T. I've got a $600 phone that cannot connect to wifi. Beautiful.
