My touch screen is completely unresponsive on my phone. I'm going to send it back to the company, but I would really like to do the factory reset before hand (I have no idea what messages may be on there lol).
Obviously if the touch screen doesn't work, I can't go to Settings and do the reset there.
I've tried the manual reset where you hold Power, Home, and the Volume Down buttons and the thing comes up, and if I select to wipe all data or whatever it says, it comes up with this screen:
... which stays like that for ever and ever and ever and never actually does anything cuz if I take the battery out and turn my phone back on, it just comes up with my unlock screen instead of the Welcome screen. :/
Is there any other way of doing a factory reset if I have no touch screen access and the Android system recovery doesn't work?
My phone is an LG Optimus Q if it makes any difference...
Thanks!
