Factory reset

Well I just did one to see if my phone became snappier. It did not change. Actually maybe worse. I feel as if when I click my home button it is a slower response. Is it possible that the reset could have done this or am I paranoid or can I fix it?

It is like a bit laggier/slower of a response. I feel as if it isn't as snappy and fluid
