Factory Reset

Just a simple and quick question. If I perform a factory reset will my phone return completely to stock and become unrooted? Any help is appreciated.

I don't think so. when you go into recovery and wipe everything that's basically what you're doing. As far as I know the bootloader isn't touched when you do a factory reset.
