I know in the past some updates have worked better for me with a full reset. Is it recommended for this update (so far it's working perfect for me, I think)?

You answered your own question. If it's working perfectly, why would you reset?

Resets also start the base framework from a fresh start. But to agree with the previous post, why reset if nothing is really wrong.
