Factory Resetting LG G4

I have had the G4 since June 2015 on verizon. I have never reset the device but I have the urge for a new phone. Love my G4, thought maybe a reset would help with that "new phone" feel. Can't afford a new phone yet and was waiting to see what LG has coming in the near future. I have 9 months of payments left on my current phone. I haven't had any issues with my current phone, just want a new "feel". Thoughts?

I too have considered performing a factory reset. I heard suggestions it will help with the battery issues since upgrading to Marshmallow, but I just can't bring myself to have to set my handset up from scratch again.

If you don't mind doing that then I'd say go for it.

Pick a day when you have time to get everything set back up the way you want, and go for it. I suggest setting up as a new device.

Maybe a new case would help with the "new phone feel"

A reset can help, but any app related slow downs could very well return if you have a lot of apps and you reinstall all of them.

Yeah I have a bunch of apps I haven't used in forever I could get rid of
