Factory wipe only deletes data and not the upgrade

I am not sure of what is wrong right now. I am on 2.9.2 (non voodoo) and did a factory wipe to try and clear out some odd data. It seemed that it would only delete data and not the upgrade. However I am stuck on the Samsung logo. Any suggestions or do I need to use Odin and start from scratch?

Any help is appreciated.

I would odin back to 2.9 data wipe, than 2.9.2, but im not a guru that is just what I would do.....Or even the stock froyo Eb01 full data wipe than 2.9.2....Hope that helps. or wait to see what a guru says

Can't wipe a custom rom, you have to reflash it before you boot after the wipe or it locks at the boot screen.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. I reflashed to 2.9 to clean, then flashed to 2.9.2 and all is well again. Lesson learned.
