faded/transparent icons

I got my Edge on release and I am loving it. But today I noticed that, after unlocking, quite often, all my icons and widgets are faded and transparent. Minor nuisance. Any idea why and how to stop it?

I've included rwo. One normal and one faded. When it happens, I have to press and hold to bring up the screen where I can choose my home screen. Then it goes back to normal.

Odd behavior. Try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21027

Seems to have stopped by itself. I will try clearing the cache if it happens again. If I do, what will be lost?

No personal data is lost with a cache wipe. Caches are by definition completely temporary, and hold data only for efficiency and convenience. There's nothing crucial there.
