Failed update this AM

I got a little message at 6:30am this morning that my phone had an update and it was about 1600k in size - I got excited thinking I might be getting Froyo... But then the update failed and it said to check back. When I click "status" all I get is the time and date of the original failure, when I click "check new" nothing happens.

How do I get my update?

Is it Froyo?

no its not froro to small of a file size. its most likly a fix for the 911 issues everyone has been having

I just finally got it to attempt again... I was wrong on the file size, it was 16,000K

Go to Settings > About phone and see what the last 4 characters are for your baseband and build. It sounds like you're still on DI01 and your phones trying to get DL09. Thus, it's not switching WiFi off and why it's not giving you any results when you check manually. You have to be on 3g to get VZ updates. DL09 switches to it automatically.

its not froyo, but its a free country, you can call it froyo if you want.

I think we've been doing that ever since the DH12 - DI01 update.
