Fake Signal Status

I have an unactivated, rooted Galaxy S3 on sprint and was wondering if it's at all possible to make it show 3G, or LTE, or even 1x even if not on wifi. I have XBlast on it and have force persistent signal status on, but it only shows on wifi and never goes above 1x. Any ways to boost it above 1x and make it show up even without wifi?
