Fall Detection: Samsung Watch 8 vs Pixel Watch 4

may i please ask if the Pixel Watch 4's fall detection has been improved over the previous Pixel Watch 3 please?

i've been waiting for a competent android watch, whether it be Samsung or Pixel, that can compete with the Apple Watch specifically on the Fall Detection feature.

sadly, i was told that the Samsung watches don't have good fall detection capabilities, and now, the new Pixel Watch 4 just came out, so i'm wondering if this might be what i've been waiting for?

Could be because those devices are designed specifically for a certain demographic. If you want accurate fall detection, the best smartwatch for that between Samsung, Pixel and Apple is unfortunately Apple. Your best bet may have to be a separate device (find the smallest possible) for fall detection and enjoy your GW or PW for all the other features.

It's just not a feature that seems to get the attention it deserves.

i can't use an apple watch because my phone is a samsung phone.

i wonder between the samsung and the pixel (both the latest model), which one might have superior fall detection?
