False google updates

I have noticed 2 false google updates on my Android phone. These updates disappear from the update list without installing the updates.

There is suppose to be a verification of updates called play protect. However I have had samsung pay and google duo update appear in the update pending update then disappear without me installing the update.

Can Google updates be verified independently of google?
