family plan with all different upgrade dates

my phone is primary line, I have preordered the samsung galaxy nexus.. it allowed me to keep the unlimited data for 29.99.I have the 1400 shared minutes with four other people on my plan, total three smart phones and two basic phones. What happens when my son goes to upgrade his phone in 5 months..with my unlimited data plan?? anyone know if I get to keep for 2 years..

It will only affect the line upgrading. He will be able to go with one of the tiers like they have now. You DONT HAVE TO move to all share but they will push it that's for sure.

I didn't think Verizon was eliminating family plans but were offering the share everything plans as an alternative. Am I wrong on this?

edit: looking at other threads it looks like Im wrong, new customers after after the plan goes into effect will have to use shared everything, no more family plans. Well that sucks. I was going to wait and see how everything shakes out with the phone before choosing between at$t and Verizon (I'll be leaving Sprint).
