Fascinate 1-year versus 2-year contract

With my company discount, the 1-year contract is $115 more total including activation. Are there any other downsides to a 1-year contract? It seems worth the extra money to be able to get a new phone sooner.

I went with a 1 year contract. With the way phones are being released these days, there's no way I'm committing for 2 years.

Yea me too. I went for the one year which was a $70.00 difference than doing a 2 year. Id rather be a free agent next year and get the latest and greatest.

How did you get $70 difference? I got $30 extra for the phone, $35 for activation (free with 2-year), and was unable to use the $50 coupon.
