fascinate style power options in the notifications pull down?

i have the fascinate and i love it. they guy i work with has a rooted droid x and he likes it, but he is insanly jealous of the power options i have in the notifications pull down menu. he has a widget on one of his screens instead. is there any way to the same thing for the droid x?

i remember that a little while back someone on xda was looking at a way to make this a possibility, but i cant recall seeing any updates on it in a while.

Gem rom for the x has it but the rom was never finished. The gps and camera were not working. Was totally built from source. Wish it was done. Here is a screen shot of it on my X.
