Fast Cable Charging disabled - Does the charging cable/adapter need to be changed as well?

I had disabled the Fast Cable Charging from the phone settings.

Does the charging cable/adapter that came with the S9 also has to be changed to a regular powered charging cable/adapter?

Does the phone need to be rebooted after disabling Fast Cable Charging?

No, disabling fast charge in the settings is enough. No need for rebooting your device.
