Fast charger on note5 Samsung is not working

Fast charger is not responding in charging note 5 it's brand new what the problem

Welcome to Android Central! What's brand new -- the phone or the charger? When you say it's not responding, do you mean it's not only charging at regular speed (and not fast-charging), or do you mean it's not even charging at all?
