Fast Charging Toggle

Has anyone found a quicker way to toggle fast charging (particularly cable fast charging) than going through the crazy menu process? Currently you need to go to settings, then battery, then press the menu buttons, then select advance settings, and finally toggle it on/off. The search function is somewhat better, but for some reason it only pulls up fast wireless charging. I've looked through Nova actions and can't seem to find the string to add it as a desktop shortcut.

You can put a shortcut to battery in settings. One less step.

Just out of curiosity, why would you need to disable fast charging?

Fast charging puts more wear and tear on your battery. I only use it for boosts during the day. I disable it when I plug it in overnight.

There have been reports both ways on this. If it does wear your battery more, it may be only by a tiny bit. I have used fast charging on my Notes for a few years now and haven't noticed any more degradation than would otherwise occur over time. YMMV of course.

If you really don't want it, an easy solution would be just to not use a Fast charging block at night. Just use a standard wall plug.

Automate is best solution. Download adaptive fast charging flow (its in more flows menu) . And then in Nova Launcher use widgets - Automate - Flow Beginnings -> select Adaptive fast charging flow and add widgets for on and off (toggle did not work for me on my Samsung S7 Edge) let me know if you need any help on that.
