Which model wireless charger do you have? Some 3rd party wireless chargers don't trigger fast wireless changing which is why it's not displaying it in the not panel. Also, the first gen, maybe 2nd gen, Samsung fast wireless charger won't either.

it's a fast wireless charger and was working as such until this morning. nothing about it has changed. I used it with my N4, N8, & N10+ successfully until today. this morning, if you had read my previous posts, I had to toggle the fast wireless charging off and on and off and on and off and on in settings to get it to work right.

You've used it since your N4? My money is on the charger and you're probably just now noticing it. Which is why toggling it off and on only temporarily works. Only real way to know for sure is to buy another wireless charger and return it if it still doesn't work. Best of good luck.

I'm telling you. every night my charge goes low and every morning it charges very fast. it's not me just noticing it.

I'm not stupid and I pick up my phone every few minutes on a low charge to see if it's to 100% yet. EVERY MORNING except this morning it charged very fast. this morning it took two hours. I checked the charger with my Note 4 and it's working fine and charging fast. this is all in my previous posts.

what is not working is fast charging and I can make it work by toggling it back and forth in settings.

you can put your money on anything you want, but in this instance you are wrong. period. can you answer the question?

is this a PHONE software or phone hardware issue, even if you disagree. give me your opinion on that and only that please. thank you.

Here's what i personally would do if it keeps doing it , i personally would get a replacement, just saying what i would do, but before i try to get it replaced, keep doing some test, like do you by any chance have another wireless charger, test with other wireless charger if you have extra ones, I'm not saying it's not happening to you, i definitely believe you, just try doing more test to be sure that it isn't the phone, hopefully you will resolve this.

no it wasn't, but thank you for asking. 3 coils, top to bottom, any position works, and it worked fine until this morning AND it worked properly after booting into safe mode. I can force it to charge the way it should, but it doesn't stick. I have to toggle it back and forth, but then it will charge properly again.

no other wireless charger, and if I have to fight Samsung over this, they will fight me hard and try to put it on the charger and it isn't the charger. I tested that by going into safe mode. it worked perfectly in safe mode.

new wrinkle. the fast wireless has turned itself off again, but I'm also seeing a spinning blue thing in the lower right hand side of the screen just before the screen turns off. anyone recognize this? sound familiar? thanks.

I thought that prior to the N10 and N10+ coming out there was really not a fast wireless charger that would support the newer faster wireless charging?

The 10+ is a beast. I would get a samsung fast wireless charger meant for that phone.

One thing I like to mention also, on my Samsung 2018 fast charger with the fan , I remember it saying something like 2hrs 28 minutes on it , now I'll test this again when I get home .

The 10+ is a beast. I would get a samsung fast wireless charger meant for that phone.

I would, but they're (Samsung model) having overheating problems and I don't want that, and if I'm going to get one, I want one made with the new specs that fast charge this phone, not just any old charger. until one of those comes out and is reliable without overheating issues, I'm not buying one.

thanks. how many watts? this is a 12w charger. and my phone routinely gets down to 50-60% at night, but it's never taken 2 hours to recharge. maybe an hour. it was crawling this morning and it's vacillating today between charging and not. the battery actually dropped down at one point while I wasn't using it. something is wrong with the phone software or the phone hardware.

I did some research and I'm not the only one who has had wireless charging issues and it stopping functioning, just not on the 10 because it's so new.

is there anyone who thinks a factory reset will cure this? I mean don't want to, but might if the consensus thinks it will help in some way.

I have just about every Samsung charger there is. The Only way that mine will show the fast charge is with the new 15 watt charger, cable and stand. It doesn't with any of the newer Samsung chargers except the newest.
