Favorite CPU setting?

Currently rocking screen off - 243-480mhz on demand
Screen on - 787 MHz performance

Trying to think what would give me the best battery life and performance

What Is the best CPU setting for all androids?
I hear to do screen off at about half of Max
And screen on performance at a high speed

There is no "best setting for all phones." Every phone is different. Check LeslieAnn's guide to over locking, it's got lots of good info.

I personally leave it underclocked to the lowest it can go when I am not using it and it is in my pocket

I roll with my V at 844/480 smartassV2 governer, works well for what i do and battery lasts from 5:30am to 10-11ish pm. with moderate use (some gaming and such).8 hours of this is at work where i leave my phone in my locker and use it a few times on breaks but i always leave my 3g/gps on with sync off. With light use, (no games just twitter and message and such) i charge every other day. Word on the street is that different V's can handle different amounts of overclock though and battery life isn't exactly inversely related processor speed as one could think.

Sometimes I run my phone at 864max 480 min but usually I run 787max 320 min with on demand governer
