Favorite weather app?

Doing that for me as well. Very frustrating. Weather bug was my favorite weather app and now its useless. I work outside quite a bit and use weather bug extensively. Prior to this i thought they had the best radar.

I tried uninstalling apps that had recently updated no help. I had to FDR my phone and weather bug radar worked for a few days, now it doesnt again..frustrating.

Anyone using WeatherBug have trouble getting the radar to go into it's motion loop? Today was the first time I tried and it's just one big green and blue blur.

I just want a good weather widget which looks nice, and has multi-day forcast in a 4x2 widget.

1 Weather will do just what you want, and is pretty light weight.

I looked at Chronus, but I dunno. To get the better widgets, you need to do an in app purchase. Well how does that work if I wipe my phone or get a new android? With Nova for example I just redownload the Prime file.

As long as you use the same Google account on your new / wiped phone, any app you purchased or downloaded from the play store can be redownloaded at no cost. The same is true of apps downloaded from the Amazon app store. I don't know about other sources.

UK weather wise, BBC. It tends to recognise more of the smaller towns and cities where I live and work in London. When travelling Yahoo weather, as more obscure places seem to pop up.

Well, I happen to be a farmer, and weather can rule our life at times, particularly now when we're trying to finish harvest and weather patterns are changing from summer to fall. Also when spring is turning to summer, and during hot summer months when thunderstorms are a real possibility.

I have evolved a set up of Beautiful Widgets (on the 4x2 clock) where I have the following weather apps configured on the shortcut setup. Tapping the hour display brings up WeatherBug Elite, the minute display has NOAA Weather, the date has Radar Now (which is just an animated snapshot of the local NOAA radar), the weather icon has Intellicast, which along with WB is the very best weather app I have found, and tapping the temperature display has Palmary Weather (nice because it has a 15 day forecast).

It took a while to arrive here, and it all does what I need...nobody should ever really trust any weather forecast is the one standout fact of weather I have found. Intellicast and Weather Bug are the best, but you need experience with several sources so you can judge their agreement (or lack thereof) for yourself.

I'd never heard of 1 Weather before, I'll give it a look.

I tried AccuWeather just because it finished first in some ranking they did a few months ago but I didn't like it. I went back to Weather Bug Elite.

I like Weatherbug Elite but radar loops recently stopped working on my S5 so I am looking at other apps.

Same here. That is why I am here looking for another weather app.
