FB Messenger Outage/Issues

I can't find where you found this FB post, but I've had to delete the Messenger app from both my Galaxy Note 4 and my Nexus 7 2013 due to the constant "Messenger closed" messages. So I am looking for a place to find updates on this issue so I know when it might be safe to download the app again.

I just downloaded Messenger and its working. FB chat is still fubar though but Messenger is working well now.

Thank you! I am now also getting repeated error messages that com.amazon.mshop.android has stopped. I've tried uninstalling all my amazon apps, but some are apparently bloadware and I can't find the source of this problem. Have you found this one happening with you yet?

I disabled anything having to do with Amazon in the App Manager. Too many strange background connections.
