Feedback from Nokia 8 Owners

Hi all

I am going to be getting a new phone soon and am looking seriously at the Nokia 8 and the Nokia 7 Plus. I am drawn to the 8 not only for the extra power that the 835 processor will have but also the smaller size. I am coming from a Huawei Mate 9. I like the phone alot but am wanting to try something smaller to change it up.

My primary question is regarding battery life on the Nokia 8. The 7 Plus looks to be a battery beast and I always hate having battery anxiety (hence my current phone). I would like to know what those of you who own an 8 have found for battery life on this phone? What is it like compared to your previous phone (and what phone was that)?

One other question, is the 8 an "Android One" phone? If not, what does it have and how is that different from an "Android One" Phone?

Depending on your usage you should get a day and a half out of the battery on the Nokia 8.

I get through a day with plenty of battery and I spend upwards of 2 hours on the phone.

I find battery on the Nokia 8 pretty good. Easily gets through a full day.

As for Android One - the 8 Sirocco will definitely be on this programme - but there's a bit of confusion about the 8 (and other 2017 devices). The link above implies that it will join the programme but there's nothing about timings or plans on the Nokia Beta Labs site.
