I can't get my VIPs to to work when it is on silent. Any ideas?

I think I waisted my money on this. It doest work correctly. If I setup a VIP it will ring if it is in my profile set to vibrate but changes to where everything now gets a sound even though the profile is set to vibrate. If I have my profile set to silence the VIPs don't ring. I also have them do an announcement for who is calling but that doesn't work either.

The app in theory is great but if it doesn't work what's.the point...

Did you check the "VIP contacts override volume / vibr. settings" checkbox within your profile settings?

Having some trouble with notifications on Gmail. I'm running a Sprint EVO with Android 2.2 and the latest version of who is it, 2.3.

I have a night profile set up that kicks in at 9:30pm and only the ringer and alarm are active. Notification, media and system are unchecked. Radio button for ringer is set to normal.

When my night profile becomes active, I'm still getting email notifications in the middle of the night. I've turned off all notifications in Gmail and only Who is it controls my notifications. I've tried uninstalling who is it then reinstalling and recreating my profiles and schedule but still getting the middle of the night notifications.

Any ideas? By the way, this is an awesome program!!!!

Do you have any contacts setup as VIP? If so, then that may be the reason that you are still receiving notification sounds even when your phone is silenced?

Questions.

With the default mail client for the EVO, how can I get a hotmail account to vibrate just once with WhoIsIt? Right now, I can set that option for gmail. The default vibrate notification for hotmail is a double vibrate that cannot be changed.

I also had to set a default notification ringtone and disable the default sms ringtone in order to hear the same ringtone for all text messages. When I had a default sms ringtone, it would play multiple ringtones at the same time.

I am also having an issue with a few contacts. When I change a setting for all contacts excluding VIP, it won't change the setting for the same 6 or 7 contacts. I have to manually change the settings for each to match.

Can I fix these issues?

2.7.1 update issue?

I have found that my 'bedtime' profile does not shut off my SMS notifications anymore. I just got the latest update (2.7.1) and even though my Notification check box is unchecked in my nighttime profile, I still get the notifications. I end up having to go into Whoisit Preferences and switching the default SMS Ringtone to silence.

This used to work, I have a Droid R2D2

Any ideas?

I'm using version 2.7.1, trying to get the widgets to work. They worked fine on 2.1 but aren't working in 2.2. WhoIsIt is not installed on the SD card. When the widgets show on the Home page they are both identified by N/A rather than their correct names, and nothing happens when I press them.

Update: Never mind -- I had forgotten to re-create the profiles after upgrading to 2.2. Once I did that the widgets worked.

Bought this app some time ago and absolutely love it!! Looks like the Gmail update tonight to ver 2.3.5 broke the app.

When I get a new email my custom tone/vibration doesn't work and the app FCs. Also broke the SMS Unread widget I use.
