Is there any way to make the icons in my files bigger need to use a magnifying glass

The only thing you can do is to change the view from List to Grid, which will make the icons maybe a little bigger. Tap the 3-dot menu icon to find the View option.

Otherwise, you can look for a 3rd party file manager in the Play Store that suits your needs.
