I'm current Blackberry owner, used to have iPhone, but thinking about switching to Android.
Can you tell me is it possible that Android phone (on WiFi in my home network) can be visible to my desktop computer and vice versa, and is there any file sharing possible between this two?
I can't do it on BB and iPhone, what about Android?

And one more thing, can I send file (word, excel..) from Android phone to my WiFi network printer?

Thanks.

I don't think you can out of the box but you certainly can with the appropriate apps.

I don't know the answer to your question. I think the answer is no. But, for some ideas... check out "hoccer" -- it's an app that allows OTA transfer of files from one Android device to another.

My thinking is, if Android has the ability to transfer files OTA to a device.. why not a PC or a printer? As Takeshi said, apps will most likely enable this.
