File Shortcuts on Home Page

I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, with Android 3.2 update. I am moving from a SGT 7.0 Tab. On the 7.0 I was able to place file shortcuts on my home page but can not figure out how to on the 10.1. I use Astro file manager. On the 7.0 I would press and hold screen, pop up for shortcuts would appear. I would select Astro, and find the file I wanted, select it and press OK in the pop-up window. It would then be on my home page as a shortcut. On the 10.1 I can only find an option to shortcut to apps. Is there a way to shortcut to a specific file like on 7.0?? Thanks in advance.

I have resolved my problem thanks to the folks at Astro (Metago).
