File View on Videos

New Android user here. I finally hooked up my TB to my comp to sync some movies. Is there any way to view the movie files by their file name instead of thumbnail? As it is now when I go to Videos my media is there but it is just a thumbnail without any title or text. Can I change this? Or is their a vid app that allows this? Thanks for any help.

-just hooked up my TB to the computer, navigated to "F:\DCIM\100MEDIA" and my video files are there with thumbnail & description of video underneath

i might be misunderstanding you, but have you changed your 'View' on the computer to "Details"?
this changes it from thumbnail images to file names, file size, creation date, file type, etc..

I don't think the OP is talking about viewing them on the computer, but rather on the phone in the gallery app. Videos are just thumbnails there.

Try Astro File Manager. That's what i use.
