files downloaded in sd card not showing on my files

Restart the phone - media apps (like Photos, Gallery) don't look on the phone, they look in Media Scan's database - which doesn't get updated when you download a file, only when you start, restart of do something media-related (like take a picture).

just curious but where does chrome state your download location is when you go into chrome settings?

The three dots by the side, where you check history, settings and stuff. There's downloads and it shows stuff you downloaded recently.

I'm talking about the Download location. When you go to downloads, click the gear icon and it should tell you your download location on the phone.
You can also turn on where it prompts you on each download where you wish to save.
