I'm finding what may be a 5MB limit for "sharing" a video via email. Video was shot with the Inc, and I wanted to email to my wife. When prompted to select the mode of sharing, I selected GMail.

Anyone else seem this? Any work-around?

The normal GMail attachment size limit is 25 megs. I know I've sent larger video files than 5 megs while attached to WiFi. Were you on 3G at the time? Maybe Big Red is limiting uploads over 3G to 5 megs?

Thank you for the reply. No, I was not on 3G. I had my WiFi connected when I tried. Just to make sure, I tried again. I'm curious about your experience -- were you using the native Mail app on the Incredible, and was the Mail app linked to your GMail account? Or, were you using the GMail app?

Thanks!

I'm having the same issue... I shot a short video on my DInc, and want to email the file to my neighbor. However, every time I attempt to attach the file to an email (using the Gmail client) I get an error message stating the file is too large? The file is 6.01MB in size. I've tried sending while on 3G and connect to my homes WiFi with no success.

Does anyone have any insight into this???

Interesting....I know being a troubleshooter at heart, I would configure your Gmail acct. in the "Email" client and see if it works there. I think in the "Email" client you can choose the file attachment size limit so make sure it is set to work with larger files than you are sending.
