Finally giving up on screen protectors.

I use a wet install armor suit. It does feel a bit plasticky compared to the glass but it adheres nicely and has good touch recognition.

Screen protectors are not needed with this phone plus they take away from the experience of the phone

Ztech for the Note 5 (found on Amazon for $5.99 is the one I have had since I got the phone (Sep '16). It just recently cracked it when I fell off my bike mountain biking and landing on the pocket that had the phone in it, but I glad it cracked and not the phone screen! It's made of tempered glass and 9H rated.

A lot of it has to do with the case. I have 4 different cases and only a two do not push up on the corners of the screen protector.

I had this one on and pealed off after couple weeks. I like to run the phone naked most of the time so my case was on and off many times during the day. Most likely messed up the screen protector.

That being said, I'm so much happier with it off. The feeling of glass under my fingers is amazing. Forget protectors, been without it for a month now and not one single scratch.

These stories always make me wonder if you didn't have the tempered glass screen protector on, would anything at all have happened to the screen...

Personnaly the only phones i ever got a protector for was back when i had an iphone 4s/6. Since moving from these i never dropped anything, nor did i break a phone, just a case for grip (mostly thin cheap plastic kind).

So I've decided after 7 or so failed screen protector attempts on my s8 plus (not to mention the 4 or 5 I tried on my note 7) I'm just going to go naked. I have the Samsung insurance with the $100 deductible so I figure I would see how easily the screen scratches and when its unbearable I'll pay the deductible and get a new one. I figure I've already paid more than one deductible on screen covers so far, so why not enjoy the naked screen and see how durable it really is.

Have you tried "case friendly" screen protectors? Trust me the phone will scratch pretty badly if you accidently put it near other objects. My work phone S8 is very ugly now with scratches, looks terrible. I would keep trying, especially since you paid over $800 for it (after all payments).

I recently got one for my Note 8+, was planning on installing it this weekend. Other than a flat level surface any tips. Also what cases have worked for you.

Be very careful wiping away the excess glue on the sides. If you wipe too much it will get under the edges. Be careful with the phone getting too hot also. Alot of us had issues that once it got hot from being outside or charging, it would heat up the glue and cause bubbles.

I've had good luck with a set i got from Amazon from Yootech. They stay put with the supcase unicorn beetle case on. No living on the sides at all.

Anyone try the Zizo 9H tempered glass protector? My sister ordered one and is very happy with it.

I have one it's not good. Screen sensitivity is poor. Difficult to swipe in from the sides and pinch zooming is very difficult. Pulled off and threw out.
