Why? Sprint said they would do their best to meet the June 21st anticipated release date. That is exactly what they are attempting to do by delivering the stock they have on hand.

This is supply & demand... In many cases demand doesn't match supply and that isn't the fault of Sprint or even Samsung at this point...

Note: I'm not here to support the carrier or manufacture but like anything big in business regardless of it being the latest and greatest car or phone, video game, etc.. Sometimes no matter how hard they plan ahead to meet demands it just doesn't work out and that is why many now use the terminology of "Release/Available on said XX/XX/XXXX date or soon afterwards or as quickly as possible".

I don't think we can really even blame Samsung.

When a device this get this hot and on the most wanted list even the best suppliers have issues keeping up...

Agreed Paul,

Anyone remember trying to buy an Evo? They were always impossible to find or get. That's how I ended up with the Epic.

It has nothing to do with crying....I'm in business and understand how supply and demand works. It just frustrating is all. I'm sure they will deliver the phones when they come in. I thought this was a forum and I could vent a little if I wanted to. Guess not

I understand you are upset, and just trying to "Vent", but really? You want your phone now or less? Calm down. It is a phone. You getting all bent out of shape and pissed at the world because your phone didn't come in yet becuase everyone and their dog wants it...COME ON MAN! A lot worse things in life could happen. RELAX.

Off topic for a second..

Hows that ASUS Transformer Prime working out for you Mobius??

FYI, Mobius is a past contest winner of a ASUS Transformer Prime from Android Central.

Back on topic, again there is no need to freak out about this delay in getting the device. Remember when they rush to meet demands, quality control and many other factors get thrown out the window resulting in possible hardware related issues ;) This in turn results in device repairs and replacements and hours/days & weeks of aggravations we don't need if we were all a bit more patient.

More like Econ 101.

haha I skipped 101 "intro to econ' because it is... or should be, common sense. Went right to Macro Econ.. Supply Vs Demand.. Good thing sprint isnt charging 300 or more for the phone because the demand is so high and just making you wait a week.

Delivering stock on hand? Not 1 32gb has been delivered. Pre selling what you know you dont have or can get is bad business.

We can debate this all day long, but the fact still remains the carriers are attempting to deliver as promised and it seems demand has outdone supply. The 32 gb issue, I'm not sure what the whole deal is there but its seems to be something that wasn't a factor at the time when pre order's started.

Everyone and their dog......that was funny. Lol. I do understand the delay issues. It was expected even though sprint was quiet on the issue until 2 days before launch (that's my issue). Im sure sprint had to have some idea phones would not be plentiful but its a moot point now. Patience is not one of my finer qualities but im working on it. On a good note at least my case came :)

Yeah, I wonder what the problem really is/was?? Either way one more week won't kill me, I guess....

I'm disappointed that there was a delay, but not as irate as some. My main gripe with Sprint is that they chose not to send any communication re: the delay until today! Everyone's been talking about in the forums for days now, so it's been known...but I would have appreciated an 'official' notice from Sprint much sooner.

That is the whole reason I said.. too little too late. They waited until after the fact to send out emails. You get your hopes all up waiting for launch day and then, boom! They pull the rug out from under us. And yes, it is aggravating seeing others get their phones while we have to wait when we ordered at the same time they did.
