Finally got it!!

I finally got my Rezound yesterday. All i can say WOW!! This thing is fast. I came from the Dinc1 & i loved that phone. But on the 29th it was time to upgrade and that isn't the only good thing. I got BB to price match Amazon's $150 price. I am impressed with 4g also. I had a DL speed of 25mb in my area. I will gladly enjoy keeping this phone for the next 20 months. Now bring on ICS hopefully in May.

You wont have to wait till then...HTC allows you to unlock the bootloader now. You can root it (legitimately) and get ICS sooner.

A couple of downloads, extractions, file movements, and command line inputs will get you unlocked.
Just follow the instructions step by step and you'll be unlocked in no time.

@Joker35 What was your strategy at getting BB to price match the $150 price? Isn't the $150 for new plans on Amazon? How'd you get them to match that price when I'm assuming you were upgrading your plan (which was priced at $250 on Amazon)?

I love mine. Had it a few weeks now and love it. Coming from original motor Droid was a big leap.

@brybell22... My strategy has a little help to knowing a manager. I brought a copy that said it was $150 for the upgrade a day before they changed it back. they saw it and was like ok. I must say my local BB takes care of me cuz I spend so much in there.

@joker unlock and root is easy. I started a thread entitled Quick Links to Unlock Bootloader and Root which will point you to step by step instructions that worked for me. And if I can do it anyone can.
