Finally got my OnePlus 3!

I have owned the OP 1, 2 and now 3. After the MM update the 2's fingerprint scanner was very good, the 3s is better, even than the one on the S7 edge as the OP 3's is always live the S7 edge you have to wake up. Ryan at Android Police said the OP 3's scanner is as good as the Nexus devices.

The one plus 3 scanner is much much quicker than my 6p. It's pretty much instant. I don't know how it can get any faster. However, it is kind of finicky if you do different angles with your finger. I may just relearn them and focus on different angles as well.

I have an S7 edge and also got the OnePlus 3. I'm seriously thinking of selling the edge and keeping the OP3 as my daily driver. That's how much I love the phone. Oxygen OS is excellent.

How is your battery life compared to that of the s7 edge?

Agree with you completely. The S7 edge is a fantastic device however. Just right now the overall package One plus has come up with in the 3 is fantastic and for me beats the edge hands down.

Can you go a little more in depth about how it beats the edge for you? Just curious. I had a s7 edge, hated the edge screen so I went to the s7 and while I love the phone, the battery life sucks!

Sure. There are many reasons. First the build. Now you have the edge so you know how the build is but fit me the 3 feels much better. It doesn't feel cheap. It's metal so it doesn't feel like if I drop it it will crack. And size wise, well I didn't think I wanted a thin device or rather I didn't care. But after having this it feels great being so thin. But again it really is user preference.

The OS. Sweet mama when i say zero lag I mean it. None. Zip. The new touch wiz was no slouch as it was fast but this beats it hands down. Everything is lag free. It's is very fluid. And it has so many useful tweaks on top of it from dark menus, to shortcuts for opening the camera. It was really well thought out.

The new day charge. I know the edge has fast charge. But believe me day charge wins easily. Charges super fast and the phone is still cool to the touch.

The screen is nice and pleasing to my eye. But I will say the edge is better to my eyes than the 3. And like I said the camera is better also although the 3 is pretty good to.

For me the 3 has all the little feature i enjoyed on so many other devices all wrapped up in one. So it really does hit the mark for me in every way that's important to me. And for $400 is s no brainier.
Oh and the fingerprint sensor is the best currently out there.

When I ordered it I wasn't sure if I would like it. I have owned all the flagships devices for the past few years now. And I didn't know how OnePlus would stack up. But so far I have been pleasantly surprised.

And I know it's not the phone but I got the sandstone case to go with it. Man I love this thing. Feels great in hand and provides just enough grip. Because like all aluminum devices it is slippery without a case on it.
